RouteLog Terms of Use
Last updated: October 12, 2026
The app
RouteLog records your GPS trips, shows maps, including offline, and helps you go back the way you came. By using the app, you accept these terms.
Maps and geographic data
Maps come from OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL license). Relief comes from the Copernicus elevation model (© DLR e.V. 2010-2014 and © Airbus Defence and Space GmbH 2014-2018, provided under COPERNICUS by the European Union and ESA). This data can be incomplete or inaccurate, especially in areas that are poorly mapped.
Safety
GPS can be inaccurate or unavailable and the battery can run out. RouteLog is a navigation aid: it does not replace trip preparation, suitable equipment (water, fuel, means of communication) or the advice of local guides. Do not use the app while driving. You remain responsible for your travels.
Your data
Your trips are stored on your device: remember to back them up. See the privacy policy.
Liability
The app is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages related to its use, to data loss or to a map or position error.
Apple devices
On iPhone and iPad, Apple’s standard license agreement for apps (EULA) also applies.
Changes
These terms may be updated; the date above shows the latest version.
